Hi Shaktiprem! Thank goodness for Yoga sessions on Friday I say! They are absolutely brilliant. It is great doing something physical as I am normally sitting in front of the computer. Not only do I de-stress and relax but after the session I always feel clear headed and am able to efficiently tackle those annoying bits of work that I have put off doing all week! This makes Monday mornings so much easier. Indeed the benefits flow through my whole week. Three cheers for Yoga sessions!! And long may they continue. Fairlie McI. PhD
I have found the Yoga program at lunch time run by Shaktiprem to be very beneficial, particularly the stretching and focused relaxation. It has helped with my neck and back issues. I would love to see it offered two to three times a week in the mornings before work - feeling balanced and relaxed would be a good start to the working day! Thanks, Dr Sue B.
Hi Shaktiprem, regarding the regular Yoga sessions run at lunch time, I initially went as I was losing productivity due to repetitive computer injury. I have found that your sessions have increased my productivity as I no longer need to take periods of time off work to recover the use of my hand. I am also happier at work because I am more relaxed. Just to say how useful and convenient the weekly Yoga sessions on campus have been. I have been experiencing some neck and shoulder pain/stress and your Yoga sessions have addressed these issues and assisted me with home and work exercises to alleviate this stress most of it related to long sessions at the computer. Dear Shaktiprem, As a result in taking part in your Health and Wellness Yoga course at work, I have had much less back and neck discomfort than I usually encounter. I have been practicing at home and my body in general is feeling much more flexible. It has lessened the amount of massage therapy I usually require for ease of aches and pains. Ann B. Hi Shaktiprem, I enjoyed the Yoga classes at work a lot. The Wellness Yoga program helped me with the everyday stress and to relax. I find the meditation at the end of each class amazing, I loved it! The classes also made me come back to doing sport again, as I was feeling healthier and my back pain was gone, too. Jelena
I feel that going to your Yoga classes as part of our Health and Wellness program helps me relax and feel less stressed about work.
